Trivia Time winner picks this week’s 100 FUN Friday charity!
Last week’s Trivia Time QUESTION: How much money does the average 56-61 year old have set aside for retirement?
ANSWER: $17,000… certainly a staggeringly low number.
Last week’s Trivia Time WINNER (his answer came closest): Jeff!
Jeff and his wife Pam have chosen “Especially for You,” a charity in Iowa for women in need, who cannot afford to have mammograms, breast care and gynecology services. Thank you Jeff and Pam, for the great nomination and for helping to keep our women healthy.
The mission of the Especially for You® Race Against Breast Cancer is to raise funds for individuals unable to afford breast cancer screenings and other support services, as well as gynecological cancer screenings, and to educate individuals on the importance of early detection.
Services covered by EFY include screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, Molecular Breast Imaging (MBI), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, PECT/CT and other breast care services. From 2008 to 2014, EFY was able to provide over 3,000 individuals with access to over 5,500 services.
It makes a difference. By donating to the Especially for You Race Against Breast Cancer, you’re helping to support free mammograms and other breast-care services, as well as gynecological cancer screenings and testing to area individuals in need through the Especially for You Fund.
We are donating to Especially for You Fund today – and we hope you will consider doing the same!
