Health Insurance Marketplace Enrollment Period Coming Up
Are you under age 65, without group health insurance through an employer?
If so, you are eligible to purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, which has an enrollment period of Monday, November 1st until Saturday January 15th.
NOTE: Enroll by December 15th for coverage that starts on January 1st.
SPECIAL NOTE: HEALTH CARE SUBSIDIES HAVE CHANGED FOR 2022.
Even if you haven’t qualified in the past, you may now qualify for a tax credit that could greatly reduce your monthly premium. BE SURE TO SHOP FOR NEW COVERAGE THIS YEAR THAT QUALIFIES FOR THE PREMIUM TAX CREDIT. For example, a 62 year-old with income of $75,000 may qualify for a $500/month tax credit.
