The Shakespeare Difference
In your first meeting with Shakespeare, you’ll see what makes us different than other advisors you’ve met with. Don’t be alarmed when we ask to get to know you before asking about your financial goals. Building a relationship with each family allows us to gain insight that will guide us in your financial planning strategy.
What to expect from my 1st meeting:
Our first meeting is a chance to get to know each other, to answer your questions and learn more about your goals. We will show you our Financial Planning Process and review Shakespeare’s Value Proposition. At the end of the meeting you’ll know if we’re a good fit for you and your family.
What to Expect when working with Shakespeare:
Working with a Fiduciary Advisor is different than working with a broker or low cost provider like Vanguard or Fidelity. As a Fiduciary, we have a legal obligation to always put your interests first. This leads to a much higher level of advice. Shakespeare serves as your Financial Quarterback, coordinating all the moving parts to your financial life. This includes the coordination of your Investments, Tax Planning, Retirement Goals, Income Needs, Insurance, Estate Planning, Charitable Goals, College funding, and more. Having a Go-To Advisor like Shakespeare representing your family and advocating on your behalf provides the Peace of Mind you’ve been searching for.
Why Choose Shakespeare:
Working with an Advisor who has a legal obligation to always put your best interests first is truly different. Very few advisors in the country serve in this capacity. Working with Shakespeare is like having an additional layer of protection wrapped around your assets.
Shakespeare’s team of professionals operates more like a highly skilled CPA or Attorney, as opposed to the sales oriented advisors at other firms. We have 5 CFPs and 1 CFA Professional working on behalf of our clients. Collectively, we have over 80 years’ experience in providing expert advice to high net-worth families in the Waukesha and Milwaukee areas.
Shakespeare not only provides the highest level advice, but we are different from other advisors because we help implement that advice into your financial plan. The more technical the financial advice provided, the more difficult it is to implement. Shakespeare provides both the technical advice and the implementation necessary for your financial plan to succeed.
Client education is at the core of what Shakespeare provides, and with this education comes empowerment. One of our first meetings involves an in-depth review of the financial markets, how they work, and the proven disciplines we deploy to ensure success in your financial plan. We have a monthly newsletter geared to educating and updating you on the latest planning ideas, tax law changes, and market movements. We release two Blog Posts per month, in which we review a financial planning topic in terms that are easy to understand.
After you become an ongoing client, we typically meet 2-3 times per year, and communicate frequently via telephone and email to handle changes as they develop. It’s our job to be the experts on financial planning changes and issues, not yours. We empower you with the necessary knowledge to understand what’s happening within your financial plan.
