These new tax-advantaged investment accounts are designed to help children get an early start on long-term saving. A Trump Account can be established for an eligible child under age 18. In addition, children who were born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, may qualify for a one-time $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Treasury.

Visit TrumpAccounts.gov to sign up. You will need your child’s Social Security number, date of birth and address. Contributions can come from family, friends and employers and are limited to a total of $5,000 per year per child. Initial investment options include S&P 500 and Total Stock Market ETFs.
